Elder Deborah Vaneese Carter

     Elder Deborah Vanesse Carter is the First Lady of First Missionary Baptist Church of College Park, Georgia, where her husband, Bishop C. L. Carter, Sr. is founder and Pastor. Elder Carter also serves with her husband as the Co-pastor of First Missionary. 

     Elder Carter is a native of Atlanta, Georgia, the mother of three children, a grandmother, and a great grandmother. She along with her sister, Sheila, are the owners of Boswell’s Beauty Palace in College  Park, Georgia. First Lady Carter is also a real estate agent with Solid Source Realty.

      Answering the Lord’s call in 1986, Elder Carter was licensed to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ by First Missionary Baptist Church and was ordained an Elder in May of 1994. At First Missionary, she serves the Lord in the Kingdom Praise Choir, Intercessory Prayer Ministry and on the Ministerial Team.  In her capacity as First Lady, she serves as Overseer over the Daughters of Destiny Women’s Ministry.

       Armed with her love for God, the Spirit of the Lord and the commission God gave her, Elder Carter ministers to the hurting, the wounded,  the broken hearted, the bruised, those who are bound and to those whose scars are hidden. She is God’s prayer warrior and God’s intercessor. An anointed vessel ordained by God to preach the Word of God to the people of God.
